The Vintage, “Farewell to the Swallows”, at Mission San Juan
Capistrano, is an annual celebration presented by the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce to bid farewell to the swallows of San Juan Capistrano. The City of San Juan Capistrano is known for their famous
swallow birds. Each March we welcome the
birds back with a large parade and in October, the SJC Chamber of Commerce bids
them farewell with a celebration of food, wine, dancing and more!
This
year the grand event will be held on Saturday, October
17 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the historic Mission San
Juan Capistrano, located at 26801 Ortega Hwy in downtown
San Juan Capistrano.
At
this year’s event, guests will have the opportunity
to play at casino tables and enjoy some of the finest
foods from the region and tastings from award winning
wineries all while enjoying live entertainment.
This
year's proceeds will benefit the San Juan Capistrano
Chamber of Commerce and Mission San Juan Capistrano.
Tickets will go on sale Monday, July 6, 2009. They can be purchased online, by phone or in person at the Chamber office located at 31421 la Matanza Street in San Juan Capistrano. For more information call our office at 949.493.4700.
